Keyless Operating System with Engine Stop Start Switch
The Eclipse Cross's Keyless Operating System comes with a unique SMart Key that works within a 70cm radius of the vehicle, so you can unlock doors and start the engine with the touch of a button while your key is safely tucked in your bag or pocket.
Active Stability & Traction Control
The Eclipse Cross is fitted with Active Stability and Traction Control to help you to maintain traction on slippery surfaces and when comering by recognising under-of-over-steer. When sensing a loss of traction, this technology applies braking force to that wheel and sends extra power and torque to other wheels that have traction to keep you moving and in control.
Active Yaw Control (AYC) Braking
Active Yaw Control Braking (AYC) improves cornering by using the brakes to optimally distribute torque to the left and right wheels. This means that even if you brake or accelerate too hard, you still maintain control on the road.
Parking Sensor - Front and Rear
If you're manoeuvring out of driveways and carparks, sensors detect and alert you to stationary objects.
Reverse Camera
When reversing, a clear view behind the vehicle is captured by a camera above the tailgate and appears on the monitor, allowing you to back up with peace of mind.
Auto Off/On Headlights
Whether you're driving through a dimly lit neighbourhood or entering a tunnel, the Auto Off/On Headlights ensure optimal visibility without the need for constant adjustments. They active when ambient light levels drop below a certain threshold, enhancing your safety and allowing you to stay focused on the road ahead.
Hill Start Assist (HSA)
This technology makes it easier to start off up steep city streets by preventing the vehicle from rolling backwards. It maintains the braking force for two seconds, giving you time to move your foot from the brake to the accelerator.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
The Eclipse Corss is equipped with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a safety feature designed to assist you when backing out of parking spaces or driveways. Using sensors, it detects approaching vehicles or pedestrains from the sides and alerst you to their presence, helping to prevent accidents.
