6-speed manual transmission
Six speeds give you total control of power delivery to match driving conditions. The solid stick shift with shorter, more satisfying shift stroke combines with somewhat lighter clutch control for easier operation. An overall wide ratio also enhances fuel efficiency.
Powerful towing capacity that packs a punch
The Double Cab Triton models have a braked towing capacity of 3.1 tonnes and a Gross Combined Mass of 5.885 tons. A lower kerb weight offers better balance of your payload and towing capacity.

Hill Descent Control (HDC)
Pressing the HDC mode selector activates Hill Descent Control, which automatically applies the breaks to maintain your current speed when travelling downhill. This lets you concentrate on steering and travel downhill with greater safety without having to manually apply the brakes.
Off-Road Mode
Improve traction when driving off road by selecting between the Gravel, Mud/Snow, Sand or Rock settings. Simply press the Off-Road Mode selector until the appropriate mode appears in the multi-information display. Engine output, transmission settings and braking adjust accordingly to optimise performance.
