PAJERO SPORT / FEATURES / SAFETY & SECURITY

Engineered for safety

Engineered for safety, the Pajero Sport is packed with safety features designed to keep you and other road users safe and sound.

Safety Features

Built with safety at every touch point to ensure you can explore and live life unrestricted.

Hill Start Assist (HSA)

This technology makes it easier to start off up steep city streets by preventing the vehicle from rolling backwards. It maintains the braking force for two seconds, giving you time to move your foot from the brake to the accelerator.

Automatic Stability & Traction Control

The Pajero Sport is fitted with Active Stability and Traction Control to allow you to maintain traction on slippery surfaces and when cornering by recognising under-or-over-steer. When sensing a loss of traction, this technology applies braking force to that wheel and sends extra power and torque to other wheels that have traction to keep you moving and in control.

SRS Airbags

7-SRS airbags are carefully fitted in the driver and front passenger sections, driver and front passenger sides, driver knee area and curtains to ensure ultimate protection amidst a collision.

Park Distance Control (PDC)

The back warning sensor provides an accurate measure of the distance of the vehicle rear and the nearest obstacle. The warning buzzar sensor sends and receives ultrasonic signals and sends this data to the electronic control unit. Mitsubishi's Rear View Camera and Parking sensors assist when parking in tight spots. Sensors detect and warn you if you're getting too close to objects behind you when reversing into a parking space.

RISE Body

Collision safety performance is significantly enhanced by Mitsubishi Motors' RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body, which efficiently absorbs energy and maintains high cabin integrity in the event of a collision.
